Review:
One Word : Riveting
I Loved This Book! I haven't read a book this gripping in awhile. This book is dark & creepy, full of twists and turns. Just when you think you might have it figured out, you realize you were dead wrong. It is hard to review this book without giving to much away. The book is full of rich detail so you feel like you are standing right there with Mara as her mind slowly unravels. Mara is dealing with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and her brain makes things up to help her deal with the trauma of losing her best friend and two other people to a terrible accident where she was left almost unharmed. There are times when you just can't tell what is real and what is completely made up by Mara's mind. The romance in the book is not automatic which is nice for a change, the guy actually has to work to get the girl. Not many books make me want to read with the bright light on but this one succeeded I cannot wait for the sequel. The male lead in the book has the good guy/bad guy theme going so you never know if you should trust him with Mara. Mara is also no run of the mill I have no personality but everyone loves me character. Do yourself a favor and check this one out you won't be disappointed.
